On a regular day like any other
the world watched in horror and wonder:
two buildings and planes attacked claiming lives
mothers, fathers, husbands and wives.

The call went out to all the rescue staff
slowly they worked, getting through the human path.
Frantic footsteps, frightful screams
this was the worst of very bad dreams.

So much commotion, so many sounds
so few survivors the rescuers found.
How could just one so vile and cruel
thousands of lives snuffed out within minutes
the bounty rests on one man’s head:
Osama bin Laden, you selfish ignorant Fool!
